Guided tour of SOSstat
This data sheet presents the graphical interface of SOSstat and its basic features.
1- Dara area
When SOSstat opens, it displays the data area. It allows you to store, manipulate and format the data to be analyzed. As in a spreadsheet, it is possible to add many grids, to insert rows or columns and to reorganize the data by copy/paste.
2- Project area
The project area stores all the analyses performed by the user. These analyses can be modified, deleted, duplicated and re-executed to generate a report.
3 - Results area
When an analysis is performed, the results are displayed in the results panel. This panel is composed of two sections:
- On the left are the numerical results with tables, lists and comments from the "Doc Stat" analysis assistant.
- On the right, there are one or more plots depending on the analysis.
4- Create a report
The analysis results can be exported in a report that can be used by a word processor.
SOSstat allows you to sequence analyses in a user-defined order and to integrate all analysis results into the report. It is therefore very easy to automate recurring analyses.
